There are different type of
FTP programs, many are available for download online by going
to www.download.com or www.tucows.com.
- Launch your FTP program
- Setup a new account / login
- The FTP address/host address will always be your domainname
(example: "domain.com") (don't put the "www.")
- Your username is the same as per your email account
- Your password is also the same as your email account
- Default Remote Directory or Directory path is: "/web/"
- this is very important as you must put your site's files
in the "web" directory in the root folder (not in
the "web" directory in the "users" folder).
