Ever wonder…
when you drive by a local business and ask yourself what’s happening in there?

It’s time to get to know your local businesses, and we at Have1.com have interviewed a number of our customers.

When I browsed the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centres’ website, I discovered many great activities for both adults and children in the community. There’s an educational centre, events, programs, exhibits, stories and artefacts. Looks like there’s something for everyone.

Below are questions for you to learn more.

Q: What services or products do you provide?
A: Explore the Bruce County Museum & Cultural Centre to experience the County’s long and proud history beginning in the “Anishnaabwe Endaat” gallery, from pioneer times to the present day. Journey through thousands of years of natural and human history; come face-to-face with a baby mammoth, be the conductor of the “Bruce County Museum Railway,” or play in our technology lab.

Discover the rich marine history of Bruce County’s lighthouses, shipwrecks and fishing industry; board the HMS General Hunter, an 1812 battleship replica, where an exciting virtual experience awaits as you shoot the cannon to defeat the enemy. You’ll discover all this and more!

With a diverse calendar of programs and events, it’s an open invite for families, adults and children to learn and experience history and culture at its best. Children’s programming includes Day Camps, Museum Munchkins, Halloween sleepovers, PA Day movies and more!

In addition, the Museum is home to wine tastings, art shows, after-hour mixers, lectures, and concerts for adults.
